What does physics have to do with it?

Physics is science. I hated science in high school & I never took a physics class.  But I've learned that there is a connection between physics & weight loss success.

By May of 2004 I had lost 60 pounds. Then a year went by and I had still only seemed to tally up 60 pounds lost. Quitting was something I seriously considered.  "Why pay to maintain?" I asked myself.

Have you ever found yourself asking the same question?  Read on this just gets good!

Laura you know what happened when you quit the last 2 times you did this, you gained the weight back and more. After a long talk with myself , I decided as I recalled those past experiences I would keep going no matter what. I had worked too hard to give up now.

You see anything we do requires physics. Whether it is moving a piece if furniture or picking up the phone to call that crush for the first time, the force required to put the object in motion is greater than the force required to keep it in motion. Making a decision to begin a serious weight loss journey often requires considerable energy. The process of losing weight demands constant effort, but the longer we engage in the process, the easier the process becomes.  You see, what causes the so called weight loss friction,  is almost entirely located just above the shoulders......in our heads. So what do we learn from physics? Number 1: Get Started....... Number 2: Keep going........DON'T QUIT!

It takes energy, effort, & mindset to get weight loss in motion. The trick is to keep it going so it becomes a lifestyle change.  You have to give it time to root into the patterns of your life. This journey needs to become who you are, the way you can ENJOYABLEY live your life, & live as a weight loss success.

Never give up on something that you can't go a day without thinking about. ~Winston Churchill
